2004 BMW 330xi Photoshoot

DSC_0127

Hello all! Here is the first post of 2016! I hope everybody had a good 2015 and are hoping for a good year. I know I am! To start off this year (I am a bit late I know), I am posting pictures that I did for a friend of mine. He drives a 2004 BMW 33oxi. Since I have already reviewed this car, I sought to make it a photo shoot and not a review. My thoughts mirror that of the 2001, although I prefer this refreshed’s styling better. It is a dream to drive, and the inline six is a gem. The interior is well built despite its age. I did review this generation with a manual transmission, a 328i, and I can concur that this 330xi would be a quintessential car made better with a proper manual transmission. I hope you enjoy the pictures! Yes, we really did take a BMW 3-Series “mudding”.

2010 Lexus IS250 Photoshoot

lexus 1

Howdy! I just wanted to apologize for being inactive for nearly two months. Life has been hectic with school and work and such, don’t worry, I am back on track with the blog! Now that summer is here, expect to see new and exciting car reviews! As always, thanks for being loyal to rnrautoblog.com! I had my mom’s car one night, and the sunset was just perfect, and I had time to kill before doing a car review (Hint: expect to see a 2015 Scion TC 6 speed manual review soon), so I thought why not? Let me know what you think of these pictures!

Thanks,

RNR

2009 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sport Photoshoot

c300 3

Remember the 2006 Mercedes-Benz S430 that I photographed? Well, the owner hired me to photograph his other Mercedes-Benz: a 2009 C300 Sport. I reviewed the refreshed model in two door form, and while it wasn’t my cup of tea, it was a solid compact luxury car. I did get to drive this 2009, and I found it to be a capable performer. It steers nicely, and the brakes are sharp. To be honest, I do prefer the 2012 face-lift over this styling, but it is still a decent looker. I hope you like the pictures!

2005 Mazda 3s 2.3 Photoshoot

mazda 9

I was looking through my pictures, and I found that I had these pictures of the Mazda3 from a photoshoot that I never got around to editing. I reviewed this Mazda way back in January. I loved the first generation 3 with its stylish exterior and interior, spunky handling, and great engines. The only thing I wished for was a manual transmission. This cute 3 is the quintessential compact sedan. You know how everybody says you’re not perfect your first time? Well, this was my first attempt at night photography, so it is interesting to see how much progress I have made from this photoshoot to now. Hope you enjoy these pictures!

2011 Ford Mustang V6 Photoshoot

mustang 20

Remember this car? This was one of the first cars I’ve reviewed on this blog. You can check out the review here. I was stumbling through my pictures and I came across these. My friend and I had some time to kill in the summer, so why not have an impromptu photo shoot? My friend and I had a lot of memories in this car. I still remember the noise it makes when it hits 3,000 rpm, and the slippery leather seats. I remember they were slippery because my friend has the Mustang Driver Complex which means Fast and Furious is his style of driving. Anyways, it handles well, the six speed manual is smooth, and the styling is spot on. It is a sweet ride. Hope you like the pictures!

On a side note, for anybody into German cars, check out my friend’s blog http://germanluxurycarss.com/ !

2006 Mercedes-Benz S430 Photoshoot

s430 48

I was hired to photograph this sweet 2006 Mercedes-Benz S430. My client actually found me through my S55 AMG review. I did get to drive this car, although not enough to warrant an actual review, but it drives similarly to the S55 that I tested. It is slower, but it still drives nicely. As for the styling, I love how it combines elegancy and sleekness and I think that this was one of the best looking S-Classes ever. It is hugely comfortable with supreme leather seats and loads of room. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the pictures!

Double Pilots

If you are looking for an inexpensive and dependable used family SUV, look no further. The first generation Honda Pilot is a great choice. It combines amazing practicality, comfort, decent fuel economy, affordability, and roominess all in a decent size. There is room for eight passengers, and this Pilot will prove to be reliable. These 2004 Honda Pilots that you see here have high mileage (see picture), but are still running strong. Throw in Honda’s excellent resale values and you have a sound buy. For the 2004 Sage Bush EXL model that you see here, it is worth around 10,000 dollars according to Kelley Blue Book in fair condition. And that is with numerous scratches and dents, not to mention it has over 150,000 miles. So if you are looking for a used family SUV, don’t miss out on the Pilot! A good alternative is the first generation Toyota Highlander.

Christmas is around the corner, and ironically these two Pilots are both red and green (it may look blue due to the lighting but it is actually a shade of green), which are Christmas colors. Merry Christmas!
